AMIR SIDDIQUI, P.E.
Amir Siddiqui, President and CEO of SIMCO, has over 28 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York and Connecticut with considerable experience supervising various infrastructure construction projects ranging from highway construction and rehabilitation to sewer installation and railroad construction. He also has extensive knowledge in the design, implementation, and inspection of Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC) plans according to the federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and New York State Supplement. He graduated from NED University of Engineering and Technology with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
SUBI CHAKRABORTI, P.E.
Subi Chakraborti has over 37 years of experience with NYSDOT, including serving as a Regional Director for 10 years. Subi brings his broad technical knowledge and management experience in transportation planning, design, environmental, construction, traffic and safety, maintenance, operations, and airport management. He also worked as a consultant before joining NYSDOT. Subi’s leadership reinforces SIMCO’s commitment to quality and dedicated service for clients.
ANNA FU LEED AP, ENV SP
Anna Fu has over 20 years of experience in construction and asset management, environmental design and sustainable development for schools, residential and commercial buildings, and public and private infrastructure in the tri-state area. She provides exceptional and dependable services and engages project stakeholders within a collaborative team environment. Her approach optimizes available resources and incorporates long-term considerations of environmental and social benefits to maximize investment value and product life-cycles. She graduated from NYC College of Technology with degrees in Civil Engineering Technology and Facilities Management. She also holds an M.S. in Construction Administration from Columbia University.
MICHAEL F. MONTELEONE, AICP, PP
Michael Monteleone serves as the Senior Vice President of Traffic Engineering/Transportation Planning. He is AICP certified and a Professional Planner in the State of New Jersey. He received his Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His professional experience includes thirty-seven years in the Traffic Engineering/Transportation Planning field in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Region. He has managed traffic impact, corridor, pedestrian, parking, safety, traffic engineering, and transit studies for a variety of clients, including PANYNJ, NYCDOT, NYSDOT, NYCT, DASNY, NYMTC, NYCEDC, and NJDOT. He has specific and extensive experience in managing and preparing transportation sections of environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, and categorical exclusion evaluations for projects in New York City using the procedures in the CEQR Technical Manual and New York State using SEQRA.
GERARD SOFFIAN, P.E.
Mr. Soffian is formerly the Deputy Commissioner for Traffic Operations at NYC Department of Transportation. Earlier in his career, he was an Environmental Engineer with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region II. Mr. Soffian is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2013 Leon Goodman Distinguished Member, Institute of Transportation Engineers, Metropolitan Section of NY & NJ, and the author of numerous professional articles. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at New York University Tandon School of Engineering, Department of Civil and Urban Engineering.
SYED HASAN PARVEZ
Mr. Parvez brings over eight years of experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning, with expertise in both project management and staff leadership. His technical design portfolio includes pavement marking design, Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC), traffic signal design, and sign design in accordance MUTCD, NYSDOT, and PANYNJ. On the planning side, Mr. Parvez has worked extensively on traffic impact studies, pedestrian analysis, and traffic and pedestrian safety assessments. He holds a Master’s degree in Traffic Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Germany and Bachelor’s degree in Urban & Infrastructure Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
IAN HESTER
Mr. Hester has four years of transportation planning experience with a focus on airports in the New York Metropolitan area. This experience includes the analysis of landside operations at airports, construction staging, and graphic design. His expertise in graphic design is especially focused on his ability to convert complex transportation planning and traffic engineering documents into concise and easily understandable graphics diagrams and maps, computer models, and presentations. He also has experience working on pedestrian and bicycle planning, Complete Streets, safety, and urban design projects.
ANUM SIDDIQUI
Anum Siddiqui has over four years of experience, she plays a key role in coordinating RFPs, maintains marketing logs and manage internal communications regarding new opportunities. Anum also creates visual content for marketing outreach, including GIFs, LinkedIn graphics, etc. She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Rutgers University.
