AMIR SIDDIQUI, P.E.
PRESIDENT/CEO

Amir Siddiqui, President and CEO of SIMCO, has over 28 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York and Connecticut with considerable experience supervising various infrastructure construction projects ranging from highway construction and rehabilitation to sewer installation and railroad construction. He also has extensive knowledge in the design, implementation, and inspection of Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC) plans according to the federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and New York State Supplement. He graduated from NED University of Engineering and Technology with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.

SUBI CHAKRABORTI, P.E.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Subi Chakraborti has over 28 years of experience with NYSDOT, including serving as a Regional Director for 10 years. Subi brings his broad technical knowledge and management experience in transportation planning, design, environmental, construction, traffic and safety, maintenance, operations, and airport management. He also worked as a consultant before joining NYSDOT. Subi’s leadership reinforces SIMCO’s commitment to quality and dedicated service for clients.

ANNA FU LEED AP, ENV SP
VICE PRESIDENT - CONSTRUCTION/SUSTAINABILITY

Anna Fu has over 20 years of experience in construction and asset management, environmental design and sustainable development for schools, residential and commercial buildings, and public and private infrastructure in the tri-state area. She provides exceptional and dependable services and engages project stakeholders within a collaborative team environment. Her approach optimizes available resources and incorporates long-term considerations of environmental and social benefits to maximize investment value and product life-cycles. She graduated from NYC College of Technology with degrees in Civil Engineering Technology and Facilities Management. She also holds an M.S. in Construction Administration from Columbia University.

MICHAEL F. MONTELEONE, AICP, PP
VICE PRESIDENT - TRANSPORTATION PLANNING

Michael Monteleone serves as the Vice President of Transportation Planning. He is AICP certified and a Professional Planner in the State of New Jersey. He received his Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His professional experience includes 31 years in the transportation planning field in the New York metropolitan region. He has managed traffic impact, corridor, pedestrian, parking, safety, and transit studies for a variety of clients, including PANYNJ, NYCDOT, NYSDOT, NYCT, DASNY, NYMTC, and NJDOT.

ZAFAR IQBAL, P.E., PTOE
VICE PRESIDENT - TRAFFIC DESIGN

Zafar Iqbal has over 25 years of extensive experience in the field of traffic engineering, transportation planning and construction inspection. He has provided traffic engineering design on various projects, ranging from reconstruction, design and safety improvements. His experience includes traffic signal design, roadway sign design (including overhead signs), pavement marking design, maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) design, value engineering, traffic impact studies, parking studies, traffic signal coordination, and pedestrian safety studies. He has also managed several construction inspection projects for clients, including NYSDOT, NYCDDC and Suffolk County DPW. He received his Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Norman.

STEPHEN CONENNA, P.E.
VICE PRESIDENT-CONSTRUCTION SERVICE/RESIDENT ENGINEERING & INSPECTION

A construction and engineering professional with over 30 years of experience managing large, high-visibility, award-winning infrastructure projects, Steve is passionate about providing effective construction management solutions and delivering projects on-time and within budget.Steve combines strong leadership and industry knowledge with a detailed understanding of project management, safety, cost control, scheduling, claims/disputes, estimating, quality assurance/quality control, and environmental compliance. With extensive hands-on experience across multiple markets—including roadways, bridges, buildings, tunnels, railroads, hospitals, airports, and parks—Steve helps owners meet their objectives.


Steve is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Engineering, a published author, and a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York.

Howard Chynsky
VICE PRESIDENT - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Howard Chynsky brings 33 years of leadership experience in transportation and infrastructure to SIMCO. Most recently, he served as Vice President at a major engineering and construction management firm. He has scaled business development ventures up to the national arena, negotiated teaming arrangements, and represented the firm in public-sector and industry organizations. Howard’s multi-faceted career also includes senior level positions with MTA NYC Transit and LIRR. Howard holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and an MPA from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.
